Where are you going? Haha, compared to all of you, we’re keeping it REALLY simple. We’re going to Orlando, FL to chill out with HARRY POTTER!

How long are you staying? We’ll be gone for a week – hes starting a new position at work about 3 weeks before we leave, so he didn’t want to be gone for TOO long.

What are you most excited for? Umm, Diagon Alley, The Harry Potter ride, BUTTERBEER, Breakfast at The Three Broomsticks and The Leaky Cauldron, and pretty much everything else that is Orlando in the late fall/early-ish winter…ish (November wedding/HM). I was there a few years ago, but Fiance didnt’ get to come with, so it’ll be his first time there since HP was introduced. =)

We are still debating, as we’re not going until Jan/Feb 2015 – but I like to see where others are going for ideas.

Right now it’s either Sandals La Toc in St. Lucia, Sandals Emerald Bay in the Bahamas, or somewhere in the Dominican Republic. Fiance doesn’t travel much, so we’d (or I’d) like to get somewhere that we may not get to again down the road.

LonnyLee: LonnyLee – I’ve done TONS of research on this issue because I’ve never been and want to make sure we see everything. I’ve heard that Sintra, 25 minutes outside of Lisbon, is an absolute must. Have you decided where in Lisbon you’re staying? We’re trying to decide between Alfama, Castelo, and Lapa. So many great options!

TroubadourTango: Thank you! We are planning to do a Sintra day trip. I really want to go there, and also Fatima. We are looking at staying here http://www.heritageavliberdade.com/

We do plan to use the hop-on hop-off bus to get to see a lot of the city. And of course the trams are a must. We’re hoping the location we have chosen is pretty central to most things and we noticed it is close to public transport.

Our honeymoon is in four parts, so I am getting a bit overwhelmed with all the places I have to look up and discover what we most want to fit in. I’ve wanted to see Portugal since I was about 12 years old, so I’m super excited.

MrsPiggles: You are going to die when you get there! It is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. A few pointers: Do the shark diving and stringray feeding excursion. It is awesome. Go into the town to Chin Lee Market before heading to your hotel to stock up on beer, wine, and snacks. It will save you a ton of money. Also eat at Bloody Mary’s one night. Super good food and a great experience!

GretaMae316: Oh believe me, we definitely already have those 3 things in mind lol. We can’t believe we will be there in 26 days. It hasn’t hit us yet. It is a dream come true for the both of us.

Where did you stay?

Was 10 nights a lot? People keep telling us it’ll get boring going for that long but honestly……that’s what we want….. I just want to float in turquoise water for 10 days lol.

Oh and I want to come back dark brown. I heard the sun there is crazy so stock up on sunscreen

Planning a honeymoon in the Grand Caymans. It’s a little pricier but it has some of the most beautiful beaches and it is super friendly to walka around and enjoy yourself, mostly because of its history of British colonization. It is quite a rich country (be careful tho, the currency is worth more than the British pound!)

Anyway I’m going to buy this bikini https://www.hubub.com/133529/190131 ahjgjsahfgjasfkgf I am so excited! Look how adorable and sexy it is! My husband-to-be is going to freAK! The only problem I forsee is because we are going in Sept (our date is Sept 25) that it is also hurricane season. It was the only time we found it affordable to go. Hopefully if its only for a few days it wont be too bad!

25 days…we are going to Oahu and Maui. I have a month’s sabbatical off from work and I’m using every ounce of it.

Still tying to work out the details but I’m hoping to go to Luxembourg. Unfortunately we’re only going to have a couple days because we’re getting married in Belgium which has a 14 day waiting period (side note: isn’t that outrageous?) and we can’t take tons of vacation. If that’s what we end up with I’m really looking forward to all the castles and fortresses!
