Hi ladies….just wondering where fellow Canadians will be going on their honeymoon?? We’re having a difficult time deciding where to go – it’ll be our first "real" vacation together and it’ll be in November. We’ve thrown around Costa Rica, Belize, Canary Islands, Turks & Caicos…..we want beach but also want to be able to do fun things like a helicopter ride, horseback riding, rainforest tours, canoeing, etc.
Does anyone have any suggestions??
Where are you going??

We’re heading to the States (as our first choice, France was really not in our budget).
We’re doing a mini road trip: San Fransisco -> Santa Ynez Valley -> Vegas/Grand Canyon
I keep reading that Turks & Caicos are amazing!

My fiance’s planning the honeymoon secretively right now after we tossed a few ideas around together, so I have no idea. But knowing him, it’s either Italy or someplace tropical. Some of the things we thought of were getting one of the small (cheap, like $200 per week cheap) islands from http://www.privateislandsonline.com, going to Disneyworld, and going camping (probably in Banff/Jasper).
I would enjoy them all, but for the sake of our budget I’m hoping that we end up camping, and maybe going on a bigger trip later. =/ I know things only get more expensive, but we will have just graduated, so. Yeah. Cheap is important.

If you’re looking at going to the beach, you could check out BC! You would have to wait for July/August though if you wanted to actually go into the water without freezing your @$$ off.

Not from Canada but did just read an article on Belize yesterday. It’s supposed to be pretty amazing.

We’re going to Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. Same place where we got engageed last November. Depending on the resorts you can do a lot of things that are included in the resort package. Other things like horseback riding and etc you can pay a "taxi" to go into town. Some resorts offer activities too.

We are planning for South of France/Italy’s Amalfi Coast/Greece… We want to rent a little apartment on the water, read books and drink wine.
Closer to home, I would suggest some of the nicer Caribbean islands… Barbados, Turks & Caicos…… What about Costa Rica/South America?
