We are having 700 pieces for 120 people ..it is about five per person..

I am still worried it is not enough…

I am interested to see what others post here.

We pieced out 8/person and had 6 different hor d’oeuvers.  We were outside taking pictures but when I asked some people later if it was enough, they all said omg, yes, it didnt stop coming around, and actually turned them down a few times cause they were getting so full.  In the interest of the budget, I wanted to do 6/person, but my mom was worried that would not be enough, she wanted 10… we settled at 8.

We are having an antipasto buffet for cocktail hour (italian meats and cheeses, bruschetta, seafood salad, shrimp, mussels, different kinds of bread, smoken salmon, spring rolls, roasted red peppers, eggplant etc).

With ours they are just refilling it as the spots go empty.

I never thought of the number of pieces per person…I assume the caterer is doing that worrying! I hope they have enough of everything!

We’re doing fruit, crudites, cheese, crackers, a few kinds of hummus, a make your own brushetta station with tons of toppings, and fried pork wontons – all for about 70 people. Should be enough food…hopefully!
