Olivepepper:  it’s annoying because they’re so cute (I have 2 pairs), but I get a blister on the bottom of my foot if I wear them for long periods

ana5131:  I am so sad that you have that experience. 🙁 They are too expensive to cause pain in any other place than your purse or bank account 😛

Following as I’m also looking at getting some. Also looking at Yosi Samra, which I’ve heard good things about.

Also take a look at the Nicholas Kirkwood Beya flats. Just bought my first pair and plan to get another two. Not cheap, but the leather is dreamily soft and they’re the most comfortable pair of shoes I’ve ever owned.

I wore the silver screen Tieks under my dress at the reception and I’m in-love with them.  I have a wider foot and have trouble finding flats that don’t feel like they’re squeezing.  I wear these at least 3 times a week now and they get more comfortable all the time and still look great.  They’re expensive, but if they last 2 or 3 years it’ll be worth it.

wrecknrose:  They will last longer I think. Mine are about that age and I wear them quite frequently and they still look newish.

I own a pair and they are cute and well made but sadly I don’t find them that comfy to be honest. I have wide, flat feet and the elastic is just too tight after a few hours of wearing it starts to hurt. Too bad because they are really cute!

I’m not a fan of Tieks. I find them difficult to fold, especially without my hands getting dirty from touching the soles, and I can never get them to fold up as small as when they were first shipped to me, so I can’t fit them into clutches or small bags. I also don’t like that they come only in whole sizes. I’m an 8.5 in flats and find that the 8 is too small and hurts my toes, and the 9 is too big and gives me heel blisters.

So happy I ran into this thread. I think tieks may be my new shoe addiction. They’re just too darn cute and stylish.

msmistis:  they are very comfortable. I have the matte black leather ones and I love them so much. I exclusively wear them and the taupe ones and honestly I’ve become a snob with my other shoes because they’re not as comfortable as my tieks. Also, they do tend to get stinky sometimes especially if it’s hot and I sweat into them but I have a spray bottle with alcohol in it and I spray into my shoes whenever I need. It works for me 🙂

molokoa:  I have to second you on the Target flats. They’re not real leather, but the basic ballet flat is so comfy and cute — and really cheap!

leilarobs2:  yep I buy size up and I love those more than my actual size. Even though my a tual size fits they aren’t super comfy.

msmistis:  I find them to be comfortable. BUT I don’t think they wear well. I have the matte black pair and I wore them close to everyday for around 3-4 months. They look TIRED after that. I thought for the price, they would hold up better. I won’t be purchasing another pair

I got my first pair about two months ago, I got them in the Ballerina Pink. I’m usually a 9.5 and found it very irritating that they don’t come in half sizes. At first I got them in a 9 because they said they stretched out. After wearing them for about a week I knew I had made a mistake because they were still very tight across the top of my foot. I wrote the company telling them about it and they let me exchange them even though I had worn them outside. The 10s are 1000 times better. I wear them all the time and I am hoping they hold up. I’m considering the mint patent ones for my wedding 🙂 I might go with Toms though as I also love them and the price is a bit nicer then the tieks.

I read countless reviews on Tieks before I finally took the plunge. I think if you can swing the price then give them a try, everyone has different feet and you don’t know until you try them. For some people they are a game changer.
