I went with a French manicure.  It’s the first time since the 80s that I had one, but it looked pretty good.  My nails are not very long (I just can’t stand it when they get too long) so it didn’t look like the stereotypical 80s French manicure, if that makes sense.  Here’s a pic.

That colour is perfect! Similar to what I had (I also had OPI but not sure what the pale pink shade I had was called). I recommend OPI UV-gel manicure because it really last so good.

I’m planning on doing red nails:

I love the little pop of color they add in pictures:

I recently tried this one and fell in love. However, I will have to see how it looks with my blush gown. But I do love the shade you have in mind!

A good piece of advice I got was keep your nails as neutral as possible so they don’t distract. I strongly consdiered doing a french tip, but my nails are naturally very short. I opted for a nude pink close to my skintone. I’m glad I did. My nails looked clean, soft and polished.

Mine were orange to match my trim (crinoline, headpiece, bouquet).  My favorite color.  Unfortunately the only orange I could get at the salon was a color change one and when cold, turned brown.  We had pretty unusual weather last year, so they’re brown in most of my photos.  However the lack of neutrality doesn’t impact the pics at all – it’s not a distraction and they don’t look ugly.  I think you can wear whatever makes you happy and as long as it matches, who cares if it’s a neutral or toned-down color?

I was going to do a French and keep it subtle but now I’ve completely changed my mind 😍

The glitter fade. It’s the most fun my nails have ever had, even with the stress-induced cuticle biting.

If I were getting married now I would white stamping over a plain gloss.  And maybe some white irridescent glitter in a few places for shimmer.  OR, I would do baby boomers.  They are just so stunning.

I think I’m going to do a burgundy glitter polish. If that’s not possible, I’ll get a gold glitter.

I want to do something like this but have the pink nails with French tips with the silver accent on my ring fingers

OP, I love that shade! I think the brighter/”whiter” shades of pale pink give a slightly more modern and youthful vibe than the more nude or bubblegum pink shades. I know a lot of people love the french manicure, but I personally think a bright, opaque, pale pink looks way more chic.

In general, I don’t think you can go wrong with any pale pink (if you like subtle) or basic red (if you prefer a pop of color). Simple and classic! Though I also know a girl who wore black nails to her wedding and still managed to look completely elegant and timeless. I think anything that makes you feel beautiful and like yourself will look great.
