I like it up, it looks more polished and elegant. Down looks pretty, but its not as stunning as the up do.

You should add a poll to this.

I love the up-do! Maybe you could wear the bolero with the up-do during the ceremony and take it off and let your hair down during the reception. You have gorgeous hair btw.

I just love the way your hair looks down in all those curls, I vote for down!  I think you will look beautiful either way, and I am always a proponent of going with what will make you feel comfortable!

I like the up-do on you!  I think it looks great on you!  What about going with a side pony tail with curls?  That way it’s still technically up but it covers one side of your body?  Both look awesome though, so whatever you decide I’m sure you will be beautiful!

I like it down best.  You mentioned you usually wear your hair down but your family said you should try to go for a different look for your wedding day.  My thought is that you should go with what you think makes you look your best, regardless if it’s similar to how you usually wear you hair (obviously there’s a reason you wear your hair down most of the time, you must like the way it looks on you!).

Anyway, I can tell you want to wear it down…so do it!  You will regret it if you listen to your family…you are the one wearing the hairstyle!

I love them both, but I really agree with you about the femininity of the down look.

I love the hair down look!  I say that you should look similar to how you look normally.  I always wear my hair down so I had a down do for the wedding.

I voted for the up-do because it shows off your nice neck, like your family said. And the front pieces still keep the look nice and soft. The down is great too, and I love the look of long hair with a strapless dress for when you take off the bolero. But overall I like the updo best.

I like it down, but I might be biased because I’m not really a fan of big updos in general.

I am normally a huge fan of updos (and I am going to be wearing my hair up for my wedding…. but I also wear it up most days), but your hair is too gorgeous not to show off! Jealous!

Your hair is soooooo gorgeous!  I love it!!  Does your fiance have an opinion at all?  My husband has always been all “I love your hair DOWN” so I knew for the wedding, I would wear it down, just because I knew that was more likely to get him breathless when he saw me for the first time.  If your soon-to-be hubby has an opinion, I’d go with whatever he wants.  Otherwise go with what YOU want.

Is your reception inside/outside?  Keep in mind that your hair down means your hair will be on your neck all night.  Are you likely to get hot dancing and stuff?  Or will you be outside in the summer?  You may want it up just to help keep you cool!  Plus if you are going to be outside at all – will your hair be affected by any potential humidity?  I know mine would go from curls to major frizz if it’s humid out – so having your hair up may prevent that problem.

Whichever you decide, your hair is GORGEOUS and will look great on your wedding day!

<—rolls eyes. hey! do what YOU want. Any amount of feedback isn’t going to make a big difference. You are going to look GREAT! Be confident, cause you have what it takes to pull it off. Your hair looks great both ways.
