I think you’re looking for an L Letterpress. You can find them for $150 or even a little under that new from different places. Keep in mind that they have a lot of problems you’ll have to work around. You’ll have to buy your own plates too since the cheap one they give you break after a few runs. An actual letterpress artist take the time to evaluate the L Letterpress and tell you how to actually get good results with it.

Yeah that’s exactly what I thought after reading the blog. With all the extra things you have to do to correct for the L Letterpress I think it’s worth the $400-$500 to go to someone starting out in the Letterpress business.
