@Briarroselex:  Sorry to hear that you are going through this.

Weddings bring out a lot of the weird and the crazy in people.  It happens to everyone.  Sometimes it’s the nutty aunt, sometimes it’s the jealous friend, sometimes it’s the colleague who we thought we were really close to.

Maybe she felt uncomfortable inviting you to her daughter’s communion?  Are you of the same religion?

Since things between you are awkward and tense, if you don’t want to bring this up with her then I think it’s probably best to let it go.  Assume that she and her daughter are no longer in the wedding party and don’t invite them.  You don’t want to have those weird vibes around you at your wedding!

@Anise:  I agree with this. It sounds like she suddenly is no longer interested in participating. Sorry things ended so poorly in terms of your friendship, but sometimes weddings can bring out the worst in people!
