yupmarried:  You may be right.  Maybe kids are more work than she though.  She sure didn’t mind just sitting on her ass doing nothing when she quit her job after getting married before having kids.  But no one bashed stay at home moms.  This woman was already bragging and letting herself go before the kids.  And had a maid BEFORE the kids.  What was the excuse then.  Yes, a stay at home mom is on the clock all the time, but to never lift a finger to cook a meal because she doesnt like to cook.. is lazy.   She has help, and has cooked meals only if her mom or mother in law helps to cook them?  Sorry, lazy.  My mom raised 4 of us, each 2 yrs apart, as a stay at home mom while my dad traveled for work every other week with no help and we had cooked meals every day, every meal.

j_jaye:  My thoughts exactly! “My goodness no wonder this woman is depressed. It seems like everyone in her life has been on her back about her appearance and weight.”

SunnierDaysAhead:  God, I hope no one scrutinizes my appearance/work ethic as closely as you are for M, especially with two small kids to take care of.

M didn’t ask anyone to fix her marriage, or to motivate her to lose weight. There’s nothing you can do, and you’re better off minding your own biscuits.
