going a few times doesn’t really even do anything – you’ll probably just burn if you’re pale. I tossed the idea around for my wedding, but ultimately didn’t care enough to go a few times for little to no change.

I have been going and you will notice a little difference if you go for about two weeks or so as long as you have a bronzer in the lotion that you use. Im super pale and i have noticed a difference in the three times I have gone. My wedding April 26, 2013 going to Jamacia after too so i need a base so I dont fry!

Sorry, the only way to get colour that isn’t a burn by Friday would be spray/airbursh tan.

You wont really notice any difference with 1-2 sessions and you should always start slow depending how your skin and how your tan/burn. I would suggest just using a light self tanner on your face/neck/arms and using a bronzer.

A few times in the bed won’t kill you, just don’t overdo it.  I equate it in my mind to cigarettes: doing it a couple times a year won’t be terrible, even if it’s better if you abstain.

If you are pale right now, they will probably want to start you off on the low end and work up to Level 5.

I tan slowly, so it usually takes me 3 or more sessions to get some color

try a spray tan instead. no harmful rays and a nice rich color.

@bluebelle23:  I tan really easily and there is no way that in a few days I would have color. Plus you may even do yourself some harm and burn or get blotchy. I would either just accept and love your paleness for now or go with the spray. You won’t get good results IMO.

@bluebelle23:  A friend did a Mystic spray tan before her wedding and it looked realistic.  It’s not ideal, but an option Smile

I might get a spray tan if anything, but really I think it’s winter and you should just go with being pale
