So I’ve been feeling a little better about my life and even a little ambitious, and I decided just to make a few life goals for myself. Nothing too difficult, just some things that will take some time to achieve. Anyway, here’s just some I thought of.
-Build a piece of furniture (bookcase, chair, etc.)
-Read all of the books on the Barnes&Noble classics list
-Have my own solo art exhibition
-Write a memoir
-Go back to Edinburgh (Scotland)
Anyone else? Give it a try. (:

@misskittenn: You goals sound amazing and exciting.
For me it would be these:
1. Have a baby
2. Get my degree in Accounting
3. Loose 40 lbs
4. Read all the books on my Nook. ( I buy them and never get around to reading them)
5. Help my husband start his own company. (we are working on it little by little)
These are what come to mind right now.

Retire early (FI and I are working hard towards this)
Climb the Grand Teton
Backpack through Europe
Visit Cinque Terra
Live in another country for at least 6 months
Fly all my neice and nephews out to us for a vacation (when they are older); doesn’t have to be all at once
Take FI’s parents to Norway (FI’s goal but I’m in!)
Become a physician (I graduate med school in 2014 so I’m on track for that one)
Volunteer with Doctors Without Borders so I can travel and help people in other countries
Get some farm/petting zoo type animals (cows/pigs/chickens/capybaras/goats/more guinea pigs)
Visit every continent except Antarctica haha (I have no desire to almost freeze to death. I complain when it’s anywhere NEAR freezing, there is no way I could be happy visiting Antarctica!). I’ve been to North America, Europe, Africa, and Asia. If Mexico counts as South America, then I’ve been there, too. I’m hoping we can go to Australia right around my graduation.
Become conversationally fluent in another language. I’m at “survival level” in Spanish, and I’d like to get better and possibly pick up another language on top of that.
Learn how to play the harp and/or drums. I’m semi-decent on piano.
Raise some kids
Drive a sports car and buy a house
I think that’s about it!

Main life goals now:
1. Get into med shool. Main priority. There is no question about it.
2. But take it easy at the same time as well – life is nice, pretty good right now, if not hectic, but no worries
3. Long term life goals – get married, have kids (after my foundation years/internship though).
Kind of taking most things as they come 🙂 No biggie I feel
