@helenberrycrunch: Seriously, the only thing that looks “on point” is the face. That’s about it.

I just helped make a life-size Barbie and Ken, and her chest was big but not that big…

i think this is what a life-sized barbie doll would look like given her measurements as a doll… 39” bust, 18” waist and 33” hips. it’s not meant to be a life-sized replica of the doll.

haha, barbie didn’t look that silly when i played with her… the thing I always think when I hear about the barbie thing is that I never said “I wish I looked like barbie”.. she’s a plastic doll….? I understand that people who have eating disorders think differently than I do but come on.. there are MUCH worse body image role models out there than barbie

The point of that Barbie is put her proportions into real life, not make a “life-size” model of a Barbie…

Basically, it shows what a ridiculous, unobtainable image the Barbie doll projects…

I feel like the model wouldn’t look so crazy if she had normal arms and a normal sized head. The head is way too small and it makes the whole thing look super creepy.

@CorgiTales:Yeah, how would you like to wake up to that propped up in the corner of your room?
