I’m not sure if it’s ligament pain or not but I’ve just started my last trimester and by the end of the day my body is sore, but not like muscle soreness. It feels as if I had a good hard workout even if I didn’t. I know everything starts getting relaxed in prep for birth but I was just wondering if anyone else experienced this nightly soreness and if there’s anything that helps ease it a bit.

It’s probably just because of the extra strain on your body. I haven’t experienced it yet but I did have some issues with numbness in my leg and my doc suggested stretching and heat. I’d imagine the same would be good for general soreness.
If you’re not already doing it maybe try to stretch for 5-10 minutes before going to bed. It helps your body release any tension from the day.
