mrsalexander:  I wouldnt worry yet. If it gets heavier like a period then you have reason to be concerned. I would keep an eye on it for now or contact your doctor to see if you can get in earlier. They likely wont be able to see much on an ultrasound that early tho.  When I was around 7 weeks pregnant I had bright red blood with clots and turns out baby was just fine. A lot of women have bleeding throughout thier pregnancy and babies go to full term. Try not to stress. I know its easier said than done!

There was a bit of watery pink when I wiped last Friday and I am also newly pregnant. I made a post about it on here and got a lot of great positive responses on here saying some spotting/bleeding can sometimes be quite common. I have a dr’s appt on Thurs and I will be addressing this to my dr then. Luckily I haven’t spotted since. If this is worrying you and the spotting doesn’t go away maybe try to see your dr earlier but for now just try to stay calm and relax, I know it is hard, I have been there!

mrsalexander:  Can be totally normal– especially if it’s brown!! Brown = old blood.  I’d be slightly concerned if it was bright red blood.  But brown is OK!!
