Hi Bees! I think I have decided to go the route of printing guests addresses, and tracing them on to the envelope using calligraphy. I am looking into purchasing a light box now and I am wondering if the addresses can still be seen through a lined envelope. Our envelopes are ecru and are lined in taupe. I dont have them yet, so Im not sure how thick they are!
Has anyone tried this?

You’re not going to be able to see through the liner unless you address all of the envelopes before you line the envelope.

Can you print the address with the text as the same color as envelope with a 10% transparency directly on the envelopes? That’s what I did and it worked wonderfully.
A light box might work, but it depends on how thick the paper is. I think it would be tough.
Also, you can make your own light box by cutting a hole in the top of a large cardboard box, putting a lamp with the shade removed inside of it (cut a hole for the cord) and put glass on top. (I have a piece of glass from a end table, but glass from a large picture frame would also work).
