My venue has a lighthouse and I’m thinking I want to tie that into the invitations and everything I’ve come across I’ve hated. Somebody help me.
I’m contemplating DIY but I’ve never done anything like that before and would need to buy a printer for it. I totally can;t decide what to do.
Hive help, pls

It might be a little too time consuming, but if you wanted to go the DIY route, there are awesome stamps at Michael’s with lighthouses that weren’t the cheesy wedding invite ones (I know exactly what you’re talking about!).
If you wanted to just have it be a part of the invite and not the “main attraction” or image, you could stamp it onto the envelope instead.
Just a few thoughts

Something like this would be really nice if you did a DIY rubber stamp and then embossed it.

Here are some picks of my venue so you see what I’m getting at. It’s not really a beach theme; it’s more seaside. The problem is that everything is either super beachy (sand, shells, etc) or super nautical (anchors). I’m somewhere in between that and i haven’t found anything.

I found the stamp posted above just by googling lighthouse rubber stamp. It would probably look really nice with a horizontal orientation of your invites. And it looks kind of like your venue.

Hmm I like this idea. OK now I guess the question is how do I actually MAKE invitations?

Kittyachi, there are tons of Bees on here who have made their own invites! (I’m doing the same, Fiance is really computer saavy, and designed a template for our own pocketfolds!)
I would suggest cruising around and seeing what you like, getting tips and tricks, step by steps, etc, and adding your own touches
