Hmmm, I’m not sure the lanterns would be enough. Could you add a few up lights like this?

I made throwies for my lanterns and while they gave off a nice glow, I def would not use them as my only source of lighting. But with the addition of rope lights, the room will be dim, but not too dark.

you can rent them here for $19.00 a light. I’m thinking they are canned lights. I was able to rent uplights through my DJ for $200. they were the long LED lights.

They say 6 to 12 feet apart depending so if you did 6 feet you would need roughly 16/17. If you did 12 feet you could get away with 8/10 – but the more the better in my opinion.

Another thing to remember is that it gets dark much later in the summer so you will still have sunlight till roughly 8:30 before you really need lights to see ya know?
