I don’t think lights full on but you definitely want to be able to see what is going on!

Lights were on the first time for us. I am happy they were. I wouldn’t want to feel like I was hiding anything!

@MuchGreater: Oh, *thinks American* – you probably call them Christmas lights I guess.

@Everdeen:  We have fairy lights as well… it’s just that string lights assume different names depending on the time of year.  I work in a retail store and during Christmas they are christmas lights, during the summer they are fairy lights.  😛

Well, our first time wasn’t even close to being a Honeymoon, but we had sex with the lights off.  TV was on though.  Now we just go at it like rabbits no matter what.  Hahaha.

@dodgercpkl: Thanks for the info! I thought you called them fairy lights but then the OP wasn’t sure what they were. It’s interesting how sometimes things just aren’t called the same thing to all people (when speaking the same language I mean).

I think the first time we had sex there was some natural light coming in the window. I actually really liked it and it helped to ease some of the tension off of the whole situation. I think that now that we’ve gotten use to it I don’t mind it either way. If we are having sex right before bed I like the lights off but sometimes I like them on. I t also depends on if I want to enjoy my man with sight and touch or just touch.

Def some lights on, its so much less personal when you can’t see each other. You’ve been waiting to give him that part of you and recieve that part of him (sounds so much worse haha) for so long, you want it to be personal. Good luck!! 🙂

I can’t remember. We were in the ‘zone’ and I wasn’t thinking about whether the lights were on or off. Trust me, your hubby will love your body. We critique ourselves harder than they do/would.

We had them on cause I had spent $300 on lingerie and I wanted him to see it,

In general we have lights off at night so we can go to sleep after, unless we are being kinky or drunk lol.

We often do it on a sat morn so it’s light then.

I HATE doing it in the dark! I like seeing all of him. I like the way he looks at me when he sees me. Besides, I don’t love morning or evening sex. Right smack dab in the middle of the afternoon is where it’s at 😉
