Another of our bees is having a remote location wedding…which means…no potties.
A lot of the bees have said they would be declining to attend, and I get it, we all get the option to decline an invitation regarless of reason or rhyme…but a lot of them said they couldn’t hold it and I was thinking to myself…who said anything about holding it?
So I just gotta ask…how many of our lovely bees have made like a bear in the woods?

@Nona99: I have…many times….mainly out in the desert where there is not much to hide behind, we go shooting and biking out there a lot…. when you have to go, you have to go! You do develop a talent at not hitting your shoes haha. At the wedding in front of strangers…I would probably wander a ways to find “the spot” but it would be pretty obvious what I was doing. I have seen people wander far out in the water by themselves when we are at the river….I mean come on…you know what they are doing out there…

Well… I have extensively backpacked and lived off the grid and lived outdoors. However, expecting people to do so at a wedding is a not acceptable, IMO.

LOL this is kinda what I was thinking when I was reading that post, but I would definitely want to know before hand because I’m sure I would have to adjust my clothing choices…
ETA I have to pee all the time. I’m sure I would pee in the woods if I had to, but I’d rather not.

I think there’s a HUGE difference between going outdoors if you’re camping or on a trip but a wedding? No thank you.
That said, yes, I have.

I have and I will… under the right circumstances, I will make a way. If you’ve gotta go, you’ve gotta go.
I’ve actually become quite good at it. lol But not in formal attire… I expect some comfort.

Ive peed outside plenty of times while hiking. But I draw the line at peeing outside at a wedding. I have my limits.

I have no problem going in the woods during a camping or hiking trip, but at a wedding, no way!

My most “rugged” experience to date was a 8-week long field study in the Montana wilderness. Aside from sleeping at the base camp, every moment was spent hiking in the woods…you can figure it out. So yes, I would try to time it so I went before/after the jeep ride, but I would crap in the woods at that wedding if need be. FI makes a good lookout.

I have and got poison ivy. I’m done with anything requiring that much outdoorsyness.

I can’t..I like physically cannot unless I am in private.I get stage fright, for real!
HOWEVER I went on a 9 day trip camping and I was forced to go lol but I would go over a day without peeing. It was so bad! I didn’t go number 2 at all lol

I could and have totally peed in the woods. Would never go number 2 outdoors tho, although I won’t do that in a public bathroom either.
I wouldn’tbee outside if I was all dressed up, it was daytime, and I was at a wedding tho. That’s different.
Also, what if the bride herself has to Pee? Is she going to do that outdoors in her wedding dress?
