@autumnWren:  Love the Casablanca 1827!  I may be biased though, my cousin is also getting married this summer and that’s the dress she picked!  She’s a really tiny girl (5’1″ and 85 lbs) and ordered the smallest size, and still had to have it taken in a lot and and hemmed.  Alterations, albeit expensive, made everything better :).  I do agree though that unless the size for the pre-owned dress is really close to your own, the alterations cost may negate the savings.  Doing the hem for a dress with lace on the bottom is also super expensive, so definitely worth it to get a custom hem if you are ordering it new.  

Here’s two other dresses I thought of that you might be interested in:

Casablanca 2072 – I tried this dress and really liked it, except I was looking for something trumpet or mermaid rather than A-line.  I still think it’s a beautiful dress though, and I love the scalloped lace along the botom.
