@miss.skinner:  I only just noticed the poll… was I blind before or did you add it later?  I really love Elise!

@miss.skinner:  I have to admit, I am a little biased because I LOVE the name Olivia… it’s my favorite.

my nephew is named benjamin, and his sister is nAmed Brooke. I know, it’s the same name as my own, but I always thought their names had a nice ring to it!

@miss.skinner:  Of your options, I like Elise the best.

    Have you considered…;

    • Eloise (Elle)
    • Genevieve (Eve, Evie)
    • Evangeline/a (Eva, Eve, Evie, Lina)
    • Matilda (Milly, Tilly)
    • India (Indie)
    • Amelia (Milly, Lia)

@miss.skinner:  I voted for Charlotte because I adore the name and think it flows well with Benjamin.  But, as some pp’s said, when I read the title of the post, my mind immediately went to Chloe. ๐Ÿ™‚

I would pick either Meredith, Molly, or Diana to go with Benjamin. Of your choices, I think Olivia goes really well with Benjamin, but the popularity of Olivia is too high for me. Same with Charlotte. I’m not a fan of your other choices.

I think of the name Tabitha since that’s my name and my brother is named Benjamin aha ๐Ÿ˜‰ From your list though, I really love Charlotte! It’s at the top of my list too (:

I wouldn’t worry too much about spelling- she’ll get it eventually. Repeating names doesn’t seem like it should be a big worry either! She won’t identify with someone she infrequently meets (like a former student or friend’s child).
I like the first 4 names listed in your poll best with Benjamin!

@CanadaMoose:  +1! Dear Daughter is Meredith and I’m currently 12w3d with baby no. 2.  If it’s a boy, I’m pushing for Banjamin.

@miss.skinner:  I chose Elise, I like naming her after someone special so I would probably go with Annabelle as well.

I have a cousin is having twins in May and their names will be Ben and Emma. The refrence to Friends is a complete coincidence.

Maybe it’s cause I’m from North Carolina, but I think Charlotte is a very easy name to spell. Maybe not for a kindergartner to learn phonetically, but most people will have an encounter with the name charlotte (whether they’re a sports fan, Charlotte Bobcats, or someone who reads/watches a movie, Charlotte’s web). I love the name Charlotte, but it is becoming increasingly popular.

My cousin has a son named Ben, and his sisters are Kate and Emily.

I’m just going to combine two of your names and say you should pick Annalise/Annelise (which I love, because it’s my name)
