i’m confused…you said you reserved another limo for the bridal party, but then you asked if you should rent another for the bridesmaids?

@FallBee1:

My Maid/Matron of Honor and I are driving in my car to the church and meeting the bridesmaids there. The photographer will meet us there and do the “getting ready” photos… my makeup and hair stylist are meeting me at the church too.

From the church to the reception we rented a white stretch hummer. I wanted a regular limo but it would not fit the whole bridal party…and going with a hummer or stretch suv was cheaper than going with two limos…plus I think it would be more fun to ride all together.. So the hummer takes us to the reception an hour earlier before the guests arrive..so we can do photos.

After the reception we will prob end up using my fiance’s car for just the two of us…for our send off.

I was confused about it all that too! we have tons of out of town guests too and i still haven’t figured that one out!

I would try to avoid having the girls leave their cars at the church if possible.  Instead of driving to the church, can they just take a couple of cabs from your house to the church?  Or even better, can they drive from your house to the reception venue (so that they can just leave their cars there), and then take cabs from the reception venue to the church.  THen they can ride the limo from the church to the reception venue, and they’ll have their cars ready and waiting for them at the reception venue.

I think you should provide transporation for the bridal party for the entire day. IMO this includes MOB, FOB, MOG, FOG

Why don’t your maids ride with you in the limo to the church?

If you afford another llimo, then sure.  But they may charge you for a 3 hour minimun, which is sucky.  A lot of cab companies have mini vans, or if you know anyone with a van maybe they could just drive the Bridal Party to the church.  I’m pretty frugal, and the idea of paying $300 for a five minute limo ride would drive me crazy, but it might be worth it to you to just have the problem solved!

@FallBee1:

Who’s riding with you to the church?

I think you should provide their transport since they won’t be able to get to their cars if they are left at the church.
