Hi again, MI date twin! Haha. I had a hard time with this because I don’t really have a MOH. We decided that because FH’s brother will be standing next to him, and he is the shortest GM, he will walk with the shortest girl and so on. Plus then I won’t be standing next to my BM who will be 6′ in heels!

I’m doing height (other than that my MOH will be right next to me).  I think you put yourself in a very sticky situation arranging people by who you’re closest too.  The only result of that is going to be hurt feelings.  How would you like to be in a wedding where everyone was arranged that way and be the girl placed farthest from the bride?  Not a very good feeling …..

And even if you never say you’re arranging them that way, the girls will figure it out.  Not a good idea.  IMO, height is always your best bet.

When I’ve been in weddings, I’ve always been placed in relationship with the bride and/or groom – as MOH closest to bride, then siblings (or other relatives), then friends.

I’m doing it by age. Haha. I’m only having my two sisters – oldest closest to me, then middle sister. 🙂

I think height, since my sister/MOH is tallest.

FI chose his GM order BM (brother), GM 1 (father) and then GM 2 (friend)

I didn’t want to choose so I am having my MOH 1st and then doing the other two by height. GM 2 Friend is super tall (like 6’5″) and one my BM is super tiny (well my height 5’3″) and so my other friend who is 5’5″ will be paired up with GM 2.

Easy peasy!

My brother walked my mother down the aisle and then joined the groomsman at the front which meant he was the farther from the groom.  He was of course paired with his wife which meant she would be first down the aisle and then farthest from me at the front.  Well my Maid of Honor and my sister in law were the two tallest so since they were at either end the height thing wasn’t really an option… so we ended up just kind of doing it randomly.  Who was matched up with who was more important to me than their order so I did their pairings and then just let my husband pick what order he wanted the groomsmen in and then matched the girls to that.

We put the best man and MOH together, then we did a combination of height pairing and secretly avoiding pairing one of the BMs with a groomsman she’d dated.
