Hi everyone! Need some advice here.
Background: We are having our reception in an enclosed tent with air conditioning next year August. Our colors are bright purple, white, silver, and gray. Bridesmaid dresses will be purple.
My question is what color linens should we do? I wanted to do bright purple linens with silver chivari chairs, but do you think the bridesmaids will blend in with their table since their dresses will be purple? My other idea was to do not have it be so matchy and do half the tables white and half purple and obviously mixing them so that not one side is just white and the other purple. Do you think that would be cute? Or would it not work to do alternating linen colors?

i’d do white table clothes, and let your other colors pop off of that. i think bright purple table clothes would be far too much. but just my personal opinion. i’m more of a neutral girl. if you want bright, go bright!

Sounds like too much purple to me. Stick with white. Then your centerpieces and other decor will pop.

If you want purple linens, do purple linens. If you are thinking purple flowers you could add silver runners.
I prefer all the tables in the same color. It just has more impact to me, than the spotty look of mixed colors.
If you want to ensure there is a break between the table and the bridesmaids, you could use silver runners placed crosswise on the table at each place setting.
