I think they go together fine (the crinkle and regular), but I think that is a LOT of fabric at a table. It almost gets to looking like a pile of linen to me with those chair covers that are all drapey like that.

What are your chair options? Is there a non-covered chair option or a more fitted chair cover option?

I think they would look ok, especially with a gold metallic sash to tie it together. But you can probably order swatches from the company if you’re in doubt. Some even have live chat features, and you might even be able to talk someone into getting a photo of the two next to one another.

Personally, I wouldn’t pair that particular satin and taffeta – especially in the same color. Because the finishes and textures are so different (not to mention the crinkle of the taffeta against the draping of the satin), it just looks mismatched and sloppy.

I love taffeta linens. I’d opt for that champagne taffeta tablecloths and a simple coordinating/lighter colored chair cover.

What kind of chairs are you using, and why do you have to cover them?

ya I would be apt to go with a non-covered chair. do your chairs need to be covered? Maybe going with an ivory vs. champagne may help.
