Okay, so I chose to order my linens through a website and purchase them because it was actually $200-$300 cheaper than renting them locally. Only now, my mother and I can’t decide what to do to transport them. We have 21 round table cloths (for 72″ tables-they are huge) and 15 banquet table cloths. They came folded up in boxes and we don’t really have space to lay them flat somewhere in the house. My mother’s initial reaction was to wash them but the only problem is we will have to refold them to transport them. We have about 2 hours the morning of the wedding to decorate so I’m not sure what to do and I don’t want creases all over my tables. My wedding is 3 weeks away and I’m freaking out. HELP ME!

We’re doing the same thing. I will be ironing them all (or having them laundered professionally), and then hanging them on hangers (probably folded a little, but it’s how the caterers do it, too). You can then lay them flat in the backseat of a car, maybe?

If you know someone with a truck or hatchback I would load up the ironing board and take it with you just in case!

Cut a slit in a cardboard tube like plastic wrap or paper towels come on. Open it and slip it over the bottom of a large palstci hanger.
Iron the cloths shortly before the wedding, Fold them softly, don’t flatten down the folds, and hang them up.
Install a hanging bar in someone’s vehicle to transport them to the wedding.
If you are really worried about the fold marks take a hand held steamer to the venue.
