I’m trying to infuse a pop of color into my reception room. We get white/ivory tablecloths for free, and everything else we can either DIY or rent. Would you go with colored napkins, overlays, or table runners for the most bang for your buck?
(FYI – our colors are eggplant, ivory, silver, and light green, and we’ll be having mostly round tables). Any feedback appreciated!

We used colored table clothes, but I would think that of those three options, overlays would add the most color to your room – I’d go with eggplant also.

White or ivory linens are included in our reception package but I want to add more color to the room so we’ll be purchasing burnt orange overlays and matching sashes. Our venue provides colored napkins but if they don’t have burnt orange, we’ll be purchasing those too. I’ve found that purchasing the linens ourselves is cheaper than renting and afterwards we can sell everything to make back some of our money.
I was just told about this site today (http://www.cvlinens.com) and their prices are really great.

@UpstateCait: I could seriously hug you right now. My venue offers mid-length white linens for free, but renting floor-length ones is an extra $16 per table (and that’s just white!). Your website recommendation is fabulous and I am so, so excited at all of the affordable options! Thank you!!!
