@LuluH:  I got a BFP at 10 DPO and was super worried about how light the line was for a couple of days. My first beta at 4 weeks was right around yours (42 maybe?). It doesn’t really matter what the first number is, as long as it doubles within 48-72 hours. Good luck to you!

@LuluH:  My 4 week +2 beta was 96… and they are supposed to double every 48 – 72 hours so I think your numbers sound perfectly normal.  What did your doctor say?  the range of “normal” varies SO much in the early stages because of a million factors.  Keep your head up, it sounds like everything will be OK =)

@LuluH:  That’s great that it doubled. I can imagine how nervous you would be right now, but try and focus on the positive. The numbers doubled and that’s great. Like you said, stressing isn’t going to help you or bub. Let us know how you go. I’m sure everything will be fine!! xox

@LuluH:  Hehe I put a reminder in my phone for next thursday =) We are both going to have big days next Thursday! I am getting bloodwork to confirm anovulation next week and we are doing our cervical swab to see if I have a semen allergy. I will be stalking this thread for an update next week – which I’m still sure everything is going to be fine =) =)

@LuluH:  I’m so glad that maca root worked for you guys!! I really think it does too! I’m sensitive to things down there too – ugh, condoms – but he said that semen allergies are actually asymptomatic, no itching, burning or anything like that. If we have it, then we go straight to IUI. There’s no treatment =/ So, I really hope I don’t have it, and he doesn’t think I do, it’s just to rule it out. Any updates for you??
