I’m completely stuck on what I should wear under my dress. My dress is strapless, and the back is just a hair too low to wear a standard strapless bra. I’ve also always had problems with strapless bras sliding down, and I’d really prefer to not have to tug my bra up all night.
But I really don’t know what other options I have. Are backless bras secure? I’m getting married in June so I’m concerned about the strength of the adhesive those bras use especially if I might get a little sweaty.
I’m also considering getting cups sewn straight into the dress, but I’m fairly flat chested and would appreciate the “ooomph” a push up bra could provide…also, I don’t know if I might feel a little naked wearing my dress with only sewn in cups…

I’m fairly flat chested too and I’m getting gel cups sewn straight into the dress. I typically don’t wear padded bras but the cups give me the added “oomph” and I won’t have to worry about pulling up a strapless bra all day.

My sister used the ones that just stick to your breast under her dress. Didn’t do much to hold up the girls, but she didn’t have to deal with straps or pulling the bra up.

Thanks for the ideas…does anyone know where I can buy the cups that can be sewn into the dress?

I’m getting the cups sewn into my dress and just getting it done at the alterations place.

there are long-lined bras that cut down low in the back. you could try and see if one of those work. and since they go down past your ribs down to your stomach they seem to slide down less than regular strapless (at least for me). here’s an example: http://www.herroom.com/Dominique-7750-Longline-Low-Back-Bra.shtml or http://www.orchardcorset.com/Carnival-337-Tuxedo-Silhouette-Maker-Long-Line-Bridal-Bra_p_14438.html
you could get cups sewn in AND try an adhesive bra so you don’t feel too naked. you could also use tape instead of an actual adhesive bra. fabic stores sometimes have cups, and also the seamstress might have some.
