Can I vote twice? I’d pick the 3 piece pajama set because I’m super self concious. Fiance would like any of the other options!

They are all very nice choices, but have you tried any of them on?

I have been really disappointed by some corsets and such because my problem area is my stomach.  If they are not long enough, I’m too self-concious about my tummy fat bulging out the bottom (Sorry if that’s way too graphic!).

I mentioned Torrid because a number of their pieces are long enough to hit close to my hip, so I’m not so self-concious.

    Their size 0 is about a 12-14.

Honestly? Go to a specialty lingerie shop.

NOTHING looks good if it doesn’t fit right–and that goes for ladies who are size 2 and ladies who are size 22. A good lingerie shop will point you in the right direction and make sure that you’re flattered in all the right spots!

@MissTiger:  Torrid is a kind of a Plus Size punky/somewhat goth store.  I’m not sure where it ranks in terms of price, but a lot of their corsets go for between $34 and $50 or so.

It’s definitely not cheap, but then again lingerie really isn’t either.  Torrid definitely doesn’t have “online prices”, but I’d rather fork over a few $ to find something that is flattering that I am also comfortable in.

I’m not saying that it’s impossible to find lingerie elsewhere, but I’ve personally had great luck there.  They are my go to place for lingerie.

I’ve been greatly frustrated and disappointed and felt downright. . .deformed? when trying on things from other places.

It may sound really corny, but trying on something that is flattering to my body that actually fits correctly is a GREAT feeling. . .especially since lingerie is meant to make us feel beautiful, desirable, and sexy.

I’ve actually enjoyed trying on lingerie from Torrid!  In fact, I actually had trouble limiting the number of items I bought!

@LRCWedding: I’ve also gotten a few tops and skirts from there as well.  I really have to try things on because I have broad shoulders but a small chest. ๐Ÿ™  Finding tops can be a big pain!
