my wedding’s over but i am a bridesmaid in an upcoming wedding and the Maid/Matron of Honor is throwing a lingerie party for the bride! Fun, right?! Anyway…where are your fave places to look for lingerie/sleepwear for a bride that aren’t super risque but still cute?

Yea… I think VS is pretty standard. Frederick’s is usually a bit more…… riske 🙂 There really arent too many other places to look.

I like VS also. They have sweet things, and a little bit more naughty things too

I went to Macy’s website and found a bustier set. It wasn’t skanky but it was seductive and sexy. And black and white and even her mom, aunts, and grandmas were like, “ooooooo nice!”. It had thigh highs and ribbons and bows and lace.

I don’t know if they have one near you, But Lover’s Lane is good too. They have a wide variety of styles : )

VS is very limited in their size choices and cater to smaller sizes only. Also, the construction leaves much to be desired (exposed stitching with sharp edges for example). Fredericks comes in a wide range of sizes, including plus size. Their stuff really isn’t any more risque than what you find at VS or Macy’s. Local dept stores (Macy’s, Dillard’s, JCPenney, etc) are a great choice as well.

agent provocateur and la perla have amazing stuff, but I dont know how much everyone wants to spend on lingerie. They are more pricey.

I love going to TJMaxx and Forever 21…they have really (affordable) comfy and wearable things. Some of my favorite nighties came from there!

I always check out the lingerie area in stores like TJ Maxx, Marshall’s, Target and even Ross. I can always find something sexy and cute and it doesn’t break the bank.
