This is not what you are looking for but it does show how you can hang vases, poms etc form your pews.

 

 

 I haven’t found what you are looking for but will add if I do.

If you wanted to hang something you could place a command hook on the top of the pew and hang the ribbon from that. Command hooks can be used on any surface and are removeable without damaging any surface.

Your original idea would also be great though. Vases or mason jars with maybe some river rock in the bottom for extra weight and stability.

Likely you would have the ushers seat people from the other end to minimize any chance of knocking over a vase. You could close off the center aisle with a  ribbon or bunting, that would be removed just before the wedding party enters.
