Lip injections?

I’ve gotten them done many times, my Fiance is my plastic surgeon. Since he has to see and kiss my lips everyday, he definitely made sure they were not overdone. The swelling was uncomfortable for maybe 24 hours. And even then, it wasn’t extreme. Just felt like they were a little bruised. I even went to work the next day without any lipstick to hide the bruising. It was super minimal for me. I usually get about 1 and a half syringes.

No one noticed because I got a very natural result. And afterwards I had started seeing a new lady for my lashes and I told her about my lip injections and she was shocked! “Wow I had no idea, I expected everyone with them to look unnatural.”

My mom did say that she noticed they were plumper but thought I was just wearing a new lipstick or something. But it’s all about finding a skilled injector. I’ve seen plenty of women with duck lips. The good thing about that is, it goes down haha. And if you can’t wait for it to go away, go and get some hyaluronidase.

How often you get it redone will be up to your body and how fast it breaks it down.

I would go for it. I have been getting injections for the past 3 years and I finally feel good about my lips. It definitely hurts but its a quick pain and well worth the results. You can take Arnica tablets a few days leading up to the procedure to reduce swelling. I think you’ll love the results. PM me with any questions!

I use Arnica spray before and after. The swelling is normally gone within a few days to a week with minimal bruising.

keep in mind though, you may want to go back for a top up. I love how mine look when they’re swollen then there is a huge change when it subsides. 1ml is pretty standard but you can get .5ml to start off with if you’re not 100% sure.

I’ve moved onto Ultra Plus because I have a fast metabolism and it doesn’t last long in my lips. I would suggest looking at starting with Ultra. It’s thinner than the Plus so a little more natural looking and softer.
