I have a lipstain pen from Victoria’s Secret. However, I am thinking of going to Sephora and trying on a lip/cheek stain by Benefit, though I read that it goes on well but leave lips dry so you’ll need a balm, which makes lips look fuller anyway. I already have Benefit’s Rushhour which is about the most perfect neutral color. However, don’t we all want something just a little edgier than normal?

I have the Benetint lip/cheek stain and it is a bit drying. I use a little of it, following by basic lip balm for a more natural look. Add more, and obviously, the color gets deeper. I have not used it on the cheeks though…

I recently got one of the new outlast lipstains by covergirl and I love it!  The color I got is called "teasing blush" and it’s very layerable. It won’t rub off, but if you don’t put some gloss or balm over it, it’ll come off if you drink something.  It’s also only 7 bucks and change!

Hmmmm…I’m not sure what she used, but the one my makeup artist Emily put in me for my trial stayed put ALL day — even through eating lunch and dinner!  If you’d like, I can ask her for the specific name!

I love the color of the Benetint, but my lips tend to be on the dry side, so I always have to add some lip balm and reapply.  I also really love the new CoverGirl lipstains.  I think Drew Barrymore looks great in the ads, so I bought one a couple of weeks ago.  The color really lasts and I didn’t find it as drying as the Benetint.  Plus, you can’t beat the price!

BeneTint has a stain and a lip balm/stain. I recommend the lip balm/stain because its glossy and pretty. The stain alone can be used on your cheeks as well.
