I would think you should look for a lipstick, instead of lipgloss. I’ve never seen a true gloss that doesn’t come off and isn’t a bit sparkly at least. Good Luck though.

Agreed with KateMW — all my best-lasting glosses are very thick and sticky, which is why they last so long. You might try going to a makeup counter and explaining your predicament.

Maybe you can try a lipstain with vaseline over it?

If you want color to your lips (but don’t want them to look shiny or to rub off) a lip stain is the way to go. I’ve tried a couple, and I really like the way they look.  I typically pair them with my burts bee’s lip balm to keep my lips hydrated.  If your lips are chapped, you definitely do not want to use a lip stain.

Here are some available through Sephora:

Covergirl makes an inexpensive one and so does Mark By Avon.

Good luck!

MAC Prolongwear.

I wore it for my wedding- only touched up once- and it lasted all day- eating, drinking, everything.

If you go to the MAC counter, they will let you try out the colors.

It looks super shiny at first, after a few minutes it’s just glossy and it DOES NOT come off.  Just run up to the counter and try it out.

I just got some smashbox gloss & love it! It’s super thick & stays on forever! A little pricey for gloss… But it’s all for the good of the wedding! :~)

I second the lip stain idea. I’ve got Stainiac by The Balm in Beauty Queen and it lasts all. day. long. The color looks intimidating in the tube, but it’s really pretty and berry-pink on. Plus it doubles as a blush that also lasts all day, even through the gym.
