@Laurenskii:  my sister (and esthetician/make up artist) swears by the Stila stain, she says it’s almost too good and can be a pain to get off (she usually has to use vaseline and eye makeup remover).

It’s what she’s using for my day of makeup.

I’ve heard nothing but great things about MAC Viva Glam 1 (the original). It’s a matte so it stays really well and it’s a color that looks good on every skin tone. Plus 100% of the proceeds go to their HIV/AIDS Foundation 🙂

Sephora Cream Lip Stain has this rockin red shade (saturated, pure red, matte) that I wear all the time (it’s in my purse) when I want red lips.

As long as you don’t eat anything oily/greasy it stays on for such a long time, and it’s only $12!

And By The Way, that’s the trick to remove lip stains when you’re all done – oil. I use coconut but any food-type oil should work.
