Liquor Liability Law in Pennsylvania

cloud9bride :  I don’t live in PA; however, in doing just a quick google search, it looks like you would need to get liquor liability insurance for your wedding.

cloud9bride :  you generally want to but liability insurance regardless; but yes, you are providing the alcohol (even though they are serving it) and you are liable as a result.

Buy event liability insurance.  Call an insurance agent or google it.  You can get a policy so that if you get sued bc someone gets in a car accident after the wedding or breaks something at the venue for example you will be covered.  They will ask you some questions about the event to set up the policy like number of guests, location, alcohol.  It would cover an issue related to alcohol consumption.  I forget what company we used but our venue had recommended the insurance company to us.  It was for one day only and cost less than $200.
