So, I’m getting married in late October in Western, PA. I wanted the romantic look of peonies or ranunculas, but both of those are out due to the time of year. I also thought maybe cabbage or garden roses would do, but was told those were out as well. So the florist suggested lisianthus. I’m looking for a dark purple bouquet with some green hypericum berries splashed in for contrast. I like the idea of this, but can’t seem to find any pictures of all lisianthus bouquets. Did anyone have one that could share pictures? Any other ideas for something like that? I like the look of a single flower bouquet and want it to be dark purple. Thanks!

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an entire bouquet just made up of linthianthus, because it’s a pretty small flower. They are being used in my bridesmaids bouquets. My florist also mentioned there were dark purple moon carnations that look really good in a big bunch together. Here is a pic I had saved for inspiration, and also a pic of purple moon carnations.

I am having lisianthus in my bridal bouquet along with all white orchids. I don’t know how an entire bouquet of them would look or if it would work.
A great deep purple flower that would go well with the lisianthus are calla lillies

Lizzies actually aren’t all that small. I had a mix of lisianthus in my bouquet (no photo at work) but I think they’re absolutely gorgeous. Here are a couple of things I found in a quick google image search:

Lisianthus is a beautiful flower! I always thought it looked like a “soft” rose. Here’s a contrast between roses and lisianthus:
I really love the second bouquet posted by ErinMarguerite, if you’re going all lisianthus, I’d pick that one!
