I used the list on theknot.com.  It kept me on schedule for tasks that needed to be completed.  I also kept pieces of paper around my apartment so if I happened to think of something that I needed to do, I wrote it down right away.

I second The Knot planning checklist. It’s interactive so you can add or subtract tasks or check off the ones you’re finished with.

I love that link, except booking the venue with 10 months to go?  Ha!

I’m using the list from the Real Simple Weddings magazine. I found the whole magazine really helpful… not all ads like most bridal magazines!  You can download their list here: http://www.realsimple.com/holidays-entertaining/weddings/planning/planning-worksheets-00000000026663/index.html

I do have to move a lot of things up, though, since I’m in a big urban area… so we’re doing the DJ and photographer right now, even though it says you can do that with 8 months to go.
