I think making a list of what we aren’t making would be shorter… but here’s what we’ve done! There’s no coordinator, our venues are outside and bare halls, so we’re putting together all of the decor.

-Designed invites, printing at local shop

-Designed programs, printing at local shop

-Bouquet

-Guys/girls flowers

-Veil

-Creating a ceremony space outside: seating, front space, etc.

-We’re building a dance floor?

Just decided I am crazy.

*invites- I’m almost done!

*wedding signing quilt- using this instead of guest book- have about half of the squares sewn

To-DO

*Sewing the Jr Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses- waiting to do this till closer to the wedding so I don’t have to deal with growing girls!

*I have my invitations done. I am waiting for the menu so I can type those up and print them out along with all the other information that has to go out.

*I will be wiring jars of different sizes to hang around the venue.

*Wrapping hoola hoops with twinkle lights and stringing them up.

*(As of now) I will be printing out vintage halloween owls, cutting them out, writing names on them and placing them into the trees I rented as escort cards.

*Wooden painted signs included a vintage ice cream sign for my ice cream bar, and about 2-3 other signs telling guests where to go.

*Gifts for bridesmaids are done.

*Programs written up (done), printed and cut.

*About 2 big chalkboards to be written/drawn on

*CUPCAKES! Because I have a cake business I will making my own cupcakes

*I started carving my pumpkins (fake). This was a lot trickier than I realized. 2 down and about 4-6 more to go.

I just finished the last of my DIYs today (well what I want to do so far I am sure I will find some other ideas in the next 98 days hehe)

-coathangers for me, Fiance, Maid/Matron of Honor, 2x BMs, MOG, MOB and FOG.

-table numbers

-2x blackboards for guests to use and take photo of themselves holding for our “picture guest book”

-card explaining above idea (hehe)

-embroidered initials on hankies for Fiance and myself.

-invitations – made from scratch

-place cards to match the invites

-honeymoon card for Fiance, it is a surprise for him so I made up an invitation looking card for the big reveal on the wedding day πŸ™‚

-I-spy cards

-bm survival kit cards with a little poem (and the first aid kit for the kits too)

-Favour Fortunes – ok might need to explain this one -we decided for a laugh (and to get people to actually open the favours) we would include a little “fortune” inside – kinda like a little fortune cookie. Yes cutting out and laminating tiny pieces of paper = nightmare hahaha but they do look cute πŸ™‚

-blinging up the bouquets x5 – I brought simple bouquets offline then realised I wanted some colour in mine so I added extra flowers to it and the toss bouquet, and then made some crystal decorations to add to all of them. I also blinged up all the stem wraps.

-our arch

-And finally centrepieces… Ok they technically aren’t set up at this moment but we have everything ready to go to the hotel and it will take us less than 10 mins to get them all set up πŸ™‚

Wow listed it actually makes me proud to see how much we have achieved. πŸ™‚ I think that is all so far haha

ETA my mum’s workmates husband is making our wishing well for us too – so technically it isn’t a DIY for me but it is a DIY job πŸ™‚

@weddingbound:  Thanks!  I’m putting macadamia nuts in it.  The bag I have is 3×5 size, but they come bigger like 4×6 and 5×7 size, which might be better for Out of Town bags.  I ordered them from Save on Crafts and then just stamped them myself.

So far:

save the dates

invitations

bathroom baskets

origami place cards

table number frames

To do:

wooden signs to direct

favors

flower girl head piece

paper chains

simple tulle curtains

guest wedding photo display

I tried my hand at DIY bouquets but failed miserably!  There are a lot more handmade elements as well…I’ve used etsy for bridesmaid jewelry, parent hankies, flower girl dress, and stamps for stationary.  My cousin is making our cake! πŸ™‚

I’m so jealous of everyone who can do all of this! I was going to make so much, but then I got sick. So…

-letterpressed invitations

-my mom embroidered the table numbers

-bridesmaids jewelry

-escort cards and display

-rose shaped dark chocolate ganache in white chocolate shells

Still thinking about drawing some photos on fabric for our wedding quilt.
