I’m planning to have manzanita branch centerpieces with pictures of/with the people seated at the table cut in the shape of leaves and backed with pewter cardstock and edged with silver and pewter glitter and bling hanging from the branches on silver/pewter ribbons. I’ll trim it out with a bit of tbd sparkly stuff. The branches will be in tall glass vases that are full of granite stones.
My my question is…would it look pretty or tacky to light the trees? Our reception is a late (8:30) sit-down dinner, and the venue does not allow real flame candles. My ideas for lighting the trees is to either fill the vases with water and use floralites to uplight the vase or to do string lights with a battery pack that I can hide in the stones.
Ideas? Opinions? Inspiration photos of your manzanitas and/or lighted centerpieces? Thanks so much for whatever you’ve got!
