I’m so sorry.  TTC is the worst.  Have you tried Glow?  THat is the newest app I’m trying.  I got sick of Fertility Friend.  Hugs!!!

HC_IC721 :  How long have you been TTC?  I’m just past ovulation on my 9th cycle trying.  (Technically been trying longer but my ectopic reset the clock… so not fair!)

HC_IC721 :  Sorry for the bad day. Have you tried OvulationCalculator.com? I think they have an app as well. I use that with Fertility Friend. FF is fine for the phone, but I like the user friendliness of OvulationCalculator.com. Might be worth looking into.

Also, remember, while 5DPO is early there is usually a temp dip at implantation. Not trying to falsely get your hopes up, but it is possible!

HC_IC721 :  I think you have a great plan.  Is there any blood tests or things you can check before starting clomid?  I’m jealous that your doctor isn’t making you wait the full year!  I get to start checking out other options in February so I’m excited for that and feel a bit more relaxed as it gets closer because it is a light at the end of my dark tunnel.  I too wanted it to happen naturally but I’m not against some help.  I’m trying to take it as it comes but it is so hard!

HC_IC721 :  funks happen while TTC, but if the doc recommends treatment I strongly suggest you take it rather than torture yourself with some ideal way of getting pregnant. My RE and DH’s urologist BOTH suggested we skip IUI and go straight for IVF given our issues. I wasn’t ready yet and did the IUI anyways and was super upset when it didn’t work. I got pregnant on our very first IVF transfer and wish I had done it sooner. I know it’s an emotional process but the doctors do want to help and there is nothing wrong with getting help if you need it. Would you judge a diabetic for taking insulin? Nope. If something’s broken get it fixed!

TTC was seven months of hell I’m not getting back! So I can relate to the frustration you are feeling. As far as apps go I’m a Kindara fan. Have you tried the suppliment Chaste Tree? It helped regulate me, and I got pregnant while using it.

HC_IC721 :  sorry you are feeling down today. Everything seems to feel gloomier when TTC isn’t working out. I think it’s worse because you are limited with who you can share your struggle with. I hope the holidays bring you joy.

HC_IC721 :  Not sure what you mean.  I don’t think mine is depressing.  I’m just being honest.  Life isn’t always rainbows.

HC_IC721 :  Don’t blame you at all. We tried for 2 years! IVF is not fun (my husband has been giving me shots for 6 weeks now and we have one more month to go….) but there is no shame in getting help. It also depends on your age and how many kids you want. I’m 31 and will be 32 when I have my first. We want at least 3, maybe 4 kids. I didn’t have time to wait for a miracle anymore and on the plus side even if I DO keep having kids into my late 30s we’ll be using my young eggs to do it!
