I basically had the worst time sleeping last night and an even worse time staying asleep because I can’t help but worry I didn’t look at enough dresses or try more on. I bought a sample from a store about a month ago and it was the only one that fit me properly, I could barely get the others past my chest and had uni-boob and they just looked horrendous.
Now I’m freaking out that maybe I made my decision too early, maybe I should have tried more/different styles. I keep wondering if I should make an appt this week to go back and look at other dresses and see if they’ll let me transfer my deposit to a different dress. But then again I’m getting married in October and will they be able to get me a dress in time. This is seriously stressing me out way more than it should. 🙁

I would call them and talk to them at the very least. You may still be able to get one ordered in at this point, it doesn’t hurt to ask. How disappointing that all of their sample dresses were way too small. 🙁

@MapleBecky:I’m pretty sure the stores don’t take into account some of us in the world are size 14’s and might have some *ahem* larger gals that cannot be squashed into size 8 samples.
I keep trying to get Fiance to look at the dress and maybe give me some reassurance I picked the right one but he refuses and said he wants to be surprised, boo to him!

I know when I got my dress, many of their samples were sized 12 and above. I even saw a few size 18s when going through the racks. Can you post a picture for us?

@MapleBecky: My pics are kind of large and for some reason when I resize they don’t say that way but here goes….

In this next pic the dress isn’t on correctly, the bustle wasn’t done up like it was in the first because I was getting out of it…

Oh! It looks beautiful!!!! I love the rouching on the dress too! It doesn’t even look like it needs a lot for alterations. I would just get a nice necklace and sit back with a grin, knowing that step is done! Seriously, there is nothing wrong with that dress at all!

Your dress is beautiful and compliments your figure.
But… if you don’t love it, follow MapleBecky’s advice and at least make a call. I don’t know what your finances are but you could always buy another dress you love and then sell this one to recoup some of of your money if you’re really unhappy with this dress.

You look hawt in it! You should send me some pictures of your birthday suit.
I’m her fiance and I knew this was going to happen. She got it and then looked at the poorly lit pictures her mom took with a camera-phone over and over again. Now she is doubting her choice.
Lovzie just listen to everyone here. They are all extremely supportive, which is surprising when you consider that they are strangers on the internet. You don’t need a new dress. The one you picked out is beautiful and looks great on you.

I think you’re FIANCEE is a fantastic guy…he’s also right! You look great!
That dress really flatters you! As a fellow busty bride I can tell you that that dress looks like it gives you good support up top w/out looking like its “meant for big boobs” (I think you’ll know what I mean by that if you’re bra shopping experiences are anything like mine).
One thing you could consider is adding a sash to hilight your tiny waist. If you did decide to do this I would have the beading under the bust removed. But I’d wait to see if this gives you the look you’re going for before making any decisions.
This dress is fantastic though!

i think its beautiful!i think the dress shows off your figure wonderfully! its really pretty.
i think the only change i would make is at the bust see if they can pull the upper part part tighter against the skin near the *excuse me* armpits. it will really give great shape to your chest. butha thats the best way i knew how to describe it but i hope you understand what im saying.
but the dress is beatufiul! and let me tell you..i stressed about my dress for most of my engagement and when i put it on that day fell in love it with more than any other time i put it on. i didnt always love my dress, i liked it enough to buy it obviously! but after i bought it i freaked and i saw so many other dresse i loved but i was stuck with my dress and i made it work and seriously ended up loving it! its hard to get the full picture of how you will be that day, beside the makeup, hair jewelry and vail you will just give off a glow of happiness and that in itslef will make you feel beautiful in the dress you chose.
