I can’t believe this!!! I have the most regular period ever. I haven’t been on any sort of birth control in over 4 years, and my cycles are always fine.
Well, here we are, 29 days before my wedding day and I’ve started my period 1 week early?! On one side, I’m thrilled because I really didn’t want to get pregnant before the wedding and we’ve been very careful, so at first I was elated. Then I clued in that my next cycle (assuming that I stay on my regular 28 day cycle) will be right when I get married!!!?! Ugh… I’m not happy now :S
Okay, vent over!

It may not happen like that. Were you around a lot of girlfriends recently in close quarters? That can reset your period- called the McClintock effect. Sometimes your start date will go back to normal- hope things work out for you.

I was with my sister and bestie this weekend, but we’re all on the same cycle already! Thanks for the kind words though

I know the feeling. Ugh! Mine are fairly regular as well. Then I was going on vacation and it was supposed to be done and over with a week BEFORE my departure date. It was a week late, UGH! And started ON the departure day. So annoying! Screwed up my beach vacation.
Anyway, now it’s a whole month later and it is back to the dates it used to be. I don’t know why it messed up just last month. How odd! My eating/sleeping habits had not changed at all. So I suspect that you will be fine too and Aunt Flo won’t attend your wedding…

Uh yeah, I’m actually on the pill and was not supposed to get my period during my wedding/honeymoon and it came anyway. And that’s never happened to me during the entire 12 years I’ve been taking the pill. It’s always come exactly on the same day. The kicker is I made EXTRA sure to be careful and take my pill at the exact same time every day and not miss a day during the months before my wedding so this WOULDNT happen. I keep thinking of how impossible the entire situation was and what obstacles my body had to overcome in order to do this to me and I’m just amazed.
