I am pregnant and told my husband I was craving chicken alfredo, thinking he would just make the jar stuff.  He went to the store, made home made sauce, and then invited my sister and niece over for dinner bc he knew my Future Brother-In-Law worked that night.  Sometime she is just so thoughtful.

We’ve been together 5.5 years and engaged 2.5 years.

My moments would definitely be watching him with our son. From the moment he first held him to now just seeing them together makes my heart swell. We waited 2 years without being able to see each other and I worried so much that our son wouldn’t bond with his father because he didn’t like strangers but now they’re best friends, they do everything together and its just beautiful.

Last night we went to a concert and when the band played one of our favorite romantic hits, my DH reached for my hand in the dark and squeezed it while the song was playing. Be still my beating heart! I love my hubby!

We are long distance and a couple days ago, he randomly sent me a message saying ‘your happiness is my happiness’. It made me grin from ear to ear. I also love the moments when we are joking around or say something weird and random then he matches my weirdness. I love it. Or when we geekily talk about Marvel films and what we think will happen. He’s my happiness :).

We typically help each other with the weekly chores, but if one of us has a lot going on that week, sometimes the work can be uneven. One week, my Fiance cleaned the entire apartment, top to bottom, and then I promised that since he did that, I would do it the next week. Well, the next week was hell, and I was so tired by the weekend. Fiance woke me up on my first day off by wrapping his arms around me and kissed my cheek. I mumbled something about getting up to start cleaning, and he whispered that I just needed to sleep in. I started to get aggravated and told him I needed to get it done. He kissed my cheek again, and said, “I woke up early and did it all. Just rest.” I melted into his arms, and then back into bed, and said loudly, “GOODNIGHT!”

He laughed and rubbed my back until I fell back asleep.

He’s always doing things like that. He’s so understanding and so loving. He never makes me feel bad, and every time he does something sweeet like that, I always wonder what I ever did to deserve such a wonderful man.

Fiance and I have been together for 4 years and long distance for 3 (until we get married in August, woo!!) so whenever we say goodbye until the next time I ALWAYS feel the love grow.  We will either say it to eachother through a tearful goodbye or send a text within a few minutes of the goodbye saying “the love grew”.  Think of the Grinch…”and his heart grew 3 sizes that day”.

soon2bmrsb2016:  Ahh there’s always so many! It always gets me when he’s kissing me and touches my neck/face.

I love when he acts like a gentleman and opens the car door for me. His family has been going through some hard times and when we had his younger sister over he told her to climb into bed with us to snuggle and watch TV. He has such a caring heart it always makes me melt!

He will send me little messages when I am down and offer to look after me (make dinner, rub my back etc). Simple things too like him knowing what I want or need without me saying anything.

I had a mini breakdown from stress a few weeks ago and I went to our room and just lied down and cried and when he came in he didn’t say anything just lied down and spooned me and reached over to get me tissues. <3

I was asking him about taking off some vacation time to travel to a nearby city in march for a blackhawks game (we are from chicago). I was nervous to ask because he gets very little PTO and this would be a christmas present for my son but would require him to take off some days of work. Not only did he not hesitate to say yes, but he told me he’s paying for it and to pick whatever seats are best so my son could experience a game close up. he’s now more excited than I am to take my son to this game. Seeing him love my son like his own makes me feel so lucky to have found someone that not only loves me perfectly but also knew exactly how to step in and be a positive and loving part of my son’s life from day one.

One more… He won $75 on a slot machine at a restaurant we were at last night and while he was cashing in his ticket he was shaking his butt back and forth in celebration. It was the most adorable thing I have ever seen lol. It was made even more adorable because he wasn’t even paying attention to me watching or anyone else, it was literally just a butt shake out of pure joy. He’s just so darn cute sometimes I can’t even handle it.

Anytime I see my Fiance playing or snuggling with my daughter makes me melt. He’s not her bio dad, so it means a lot to me that he loves her as much as I do.

I caught them watching tv together the other day and tried to sneak a picture 🙂

It warms my heart to read a positive thread in the “Relationships” section. That and the “Emotional” one are usually heart-wrenching.

So I guess we’re talking about big fat GREEN flags huh? The ones that help us know that we can continue opening ourselves to the other person full steam ahead?

I’m trying to think of one that’s recent but I’m just drawing sexual ones so…I’m gonna keep reading these and come back when I have a more emotional one that I can share. Suffice to say there hasn’t been a DAY since we moved in together (3 years ago) that I haven’t said Wow I’m lucky, and I must’ve done something fanfuckingtastic in a past life cuz …wow. Just wow. He’s the best.

We’ve been together for 5 years, married for two.

Great thread!

I’ll go with forehead kisses and when he plays with my niece and nephew. Or actually any young kids, it just shows me what a good heart he has.  I think I really admire that in him, because I am not a kid person!

soon2bmrsb2016:  Aww everyone has such cute moments 🙂

Together for 4.5 years, engaged for 2 (we’re getting there!)

-When he comes home from a really hard day of work filthy in his work clothes that are a little too big for him.  He looks adorable, although he doesn’t appeciate me saying that haha.

-When he’s playing with our baby nephew

-When I’ve hard a hard week and come home to find a bottle of wine and the house clean (even though I usually have to clean it again… but it’s the thought!)
