You could go on on one hell of a honeymoon for what they charge per night. I don’t think it is worth it

soontobemrsjg2017 :  Helo! We go to the keys and actually just spent a night on Little Torch Key.

I would just do KW instead. There are not any beaches nor a lot of places to stay on Little Torch Key. You will have to drive to go do anything. We didn’t love it and much preferred Key Largo, Key West, Islamorada ( stay at a good hotel with resort)

What do you guys like to do? I would be really bored on little torch key, one day was enough for us.

Where are you thinking of staying? Do you have a boat? Key West has so many good options for hotels, things to do, history, ect. It will be quite annoying to have to drive to KW or to Marathon  anytime you want to do anything, and also cabs are very expensive so if you plan on drinking at all, be prepared to shell out.

My bad. Like a PP, I always equate LTK with Little Palm Island.

I agree that LTK is incredibly remote. Unless you are planning on spending all your time diving Looe Key, then it doesm’t make sense.

But it depends on what you want. If you want pretty beaches, the Keys are not a good choice; Marco Island would be better. If you want to eat and drink in a quaint but touristy town, then Key West. If you want a reaort that you never leave, then Cheeca Lodge or Hawks Cay. But neither have great beaches.

How long is your honeymoon? I always have fun in the Keys but as PP mentioned it depends on what you want to do with your free time.
