I’m asking one of my best friends to be my bridesmaid tonight and I’m making her a llama/alpaca themed card to go with a similarly themed gift (they’re her favorite animal) and want to have a pun in the card to ask her! So far I’ve got:
“I have a di-llama that will need you to alpaca your bags… wool you fleece be my bridesmaid?”
Probably not the best, but having trouble coming up with any good puns!
Would love to hear other suggestions!
Also, our wedding is on her 30th birthday (which she is SOOOOOO excited about and ok with) maybe there is a way to add a joke about that!

mayflower7 : “I would be so fluffin’ excited if you’d be my bridesmaid!”

mayflower7 : I was hoping you’d be asking if it were appropriate to have a llama or alpaca as a bridesmaid.

futuremrs2020 : Same. I was already imagining the biting and spitting stories that would result!

Really disappointed about you not having an alpaca with a cute flower crown or something standing by your side.

I literally would fully endorse an alpaca ring bearer, just sayin.

This, evidently, is more common than I might have imagined:

mayflower7 : I was also hoping that you were considering walking alpacas or llamas down the isle. 😂 My parents have a farm with alpacas and llamas and while they weren’t intentionally included in the ceremony, two males inserted themselves by fighting right before the vows. If you’ve never heard the sound of screaming alpacas fighting, look it up and you can get an idea of the interruption! My Brother-In-Law jumped the fences in his suit to break up the fight so we could continue uninterrupted!
The only thing I would change in your wording is to leave out ‘wool’ because that would be more sheep themed and alpacas don’t produce wool.

mayflower7 : I thought the first part was cute, but I would cut out everything from “wool” on. That went a little overboard to me, personally.

echomomm : these pictures are everything! The friend I’m asking wanted to get married at an alpaca farm but the dates didn’t work out, clearly it would have been beautiful!

echomomm : I wish I would have had an invite to this wedding!! OP- get llamas for sure.
