(Closed) loaner dress

I’ve looked into rent the runway but have never had the nerve to try it!!  Best of luck!!

Do you mean renting your dress for your wedding day or do you mean the designer has shipped a loaner dress for you to try on since the salon doesn’t carry the specific dress you want to try on?

@Erinplus6:  I don’t know what this means!  How does it work and where did you get the dress from?

 

From my experience dress sizes are usually a higher number than your normal street size, not the other way around.

@Erinplus6:  Ah, $50 to get it there, but you cannot tkae it out of the store.

I would ask the bridal shop to take your measurements and to ensure that they are shipping in the most appropriate size. If that is the only size the loaner comes in, then it might be a close fit honestly. 

It’s just to get the feel for the gown on you, then you’d order your real size if you were pleased.

It really depends on the designer.  I was an 8 in Casablanca, but a 4/6 in David’s Bridal.  I’m a 6 street size.
