Jelly Bellies are made in Fairfield. If you go to the factory, you can get a 2 lb bag of “Belly Flops” for like $8.

Other great chocolate options other than what’s been mentioned are Charles Chocolates (Berkeley) and Recchiuti Confections (SF). Scharffen Berger is made in Berkeley too but they’re closing it down.

I would go non-mainstream and stick with SCHARFFEN BERGER!!! They have some great gift packages for their chocolate too. Your guests can even tour their chocolate factory in Berkely.

Don’t get me started on SF chocolate…. I prefer treats from Recchiutti.  They have a shop in the Ferry Building Market.

Also, Scharffen Burger isn’t made in the Bay Area anymore.  They closed the Berkeley and SF factories last year.  I think it’s made in Illinois now.
