I am designing our STD’s. Do I have to have the location on our STD’s or is having our wedding website on the STD which will have all the information on it be good enough!
We are having our wedding in his home town which is where his family is and not where we live. So I guess I should huh?!

If you know the location and it’s not going to change, then I’d say sure, go ahead and put it on there. People will probably be wondering and will like to know (without having to go to the website). If the location’s still up in the air a bit, then leave it off – everyone will go to the website for more info, guaranteed.

For my STD’s I put the city and state, but no other information. The rest was on the website (location name and address)
People only need the location on STD’s in order to make travel arrangements, but it’s a good idea to include, I think.

If you have a city, state solidified I would put it on the card. This allows people who definitely know they want to come to begin the search for rental cars/plane tickets without internet access.

Yes, I would include the city and state as well. I received a STD in the mail and all she had was the Date and wedding website. If I think (for older folks not familiar with the internet) it would be useless to them. Good luck.

I also listed city and state and website address, but not actual location. We are having a domestic destination (domestination?) wedding, and since 95% of our guests will need to travel, I want to send them out 9 months ahead.
